Usually these will be either daggers, knives, or swords, but occasionally I acquire pieces of other antique militaria that will be of interest to collectors and will place them for sale here.

WWII Victory Dagger. These daggers were made in India as souvenirs for allied troops serving there towards the end of WWII. They are often mistaken for a Naval dagger of the early 1800s, and are sold as such. Overall length in scabbard is about 12 inches. Bone handle with eagle pommel and "S" curved crossguard with acorn finials on ends. Curved blade has been sharpened. Leather scabbard with brass fittings. NO SALES OUTSIDE OF U.S.A.

Mid-Eastern Powder Flask in shape of horn. Overall length is approx. 13 inches. Has two hanger rings. There is Arabic writing stamped into the side of the horn, but I have no idea what it says. This is a nice vintage Islamic powder flask, that will be welcome addition to any collection.

North African Tubu tribal arm dagger. The length of the dagger is 12 1/2 inches, blade itself is 7 5/8 inches, overall length is 12 3/4 inches. The scabbard is multi-colored leather with twisted leather arm loop. The knife blade has double lines that run the length of the blade edges along with some center engraving on bolth sides. The multi-color leather hide/skin handle has a triangular, metal pommel with a blunt edge and tip. High quality leather work with aged patina blade and pommel , all left as is untouched! looks like it had been in the scabbard for some time!There is one ding on blade edge and a ever so small one! same edge as shown in photo's! This is a very well detailed dagger and scabbard!

Vintage Tubu arm dagger. Crocadile hide trim on handle and sheath. From Niger West Africa. This is a typical Tubu dagger with the "skull chrusher" pommel. It is 11.5" long. The Tubu tribe are nomads that live in the Eastern part of Niger near the Chadian border. Like the Tuareg tribe, they are traditionally nomadic herdsmen. This is an actual dagger that was used by a Tubu tribesman, and not a dagger made for the tourist trade.

Wonderful old vintage dagger from Cameroon. Blade has a little rust, but could easily be cleaned. Wooden handle is carved with geometric tribal designs. Scabbard is cowhide with the fur still on it. A very cool old African tribal dagger. Blade is about 12" long.

Vintage African tribal knife. Overall length about 9 inches.
This knife came from the estate of Frank and :Patricia Beeman who were part of the Southern African Liberation Committee frounded in 1972. The group worked to isolate South Africa until the release of Nelson Mandela in 1990. The knife has a wood handle and sheath, and is very sharp. It fits perfectly into the sheath with no movement whatsoever. May be from the Zulu or Bantu tribe.

Vintage Somali/Danakil dagger. These are Somali made with Danakil influence. The brasswire decoration on the hilt is typical for Somali. The dagger is 14 inches long. Probably mid 19th century. Most African daggers are made from scrap iron and steel, but this one appears that the blade is made from steel smelted in a village blacksmith's shop.
